Group Chief Technology and Innovation officer, Liquid Intelligent Technologies (formerly Liquid Telecom) Ben Roberts has called out British Airways for poor Wi-fi connection in their flight.
In a tweet tagging the airline, Robert termed the Wi-fi as useless having had to endure it for 9 hours on flight BA65.
” I was conned by your £4.99 ‘messaging and social media’ package. Twitter, MS Teams, email, LinkedIn did not work at all. Whatsapp sent one or 2 mesages every hour if lucky. Fraudulent”. said Robert.
According to Roberts, the airline had a social media package retail for £4.99 ( approx. KES 760) per person per device which would give passengers Wi-fi to connect to twitter, MS Teams, emails, Linked In and WhatsApp.
