Showmax Reduces its Mobile Subscription fees to Ksh.300

Showmax is reducing its mobile subscription fees by 20% for access to the full Showmax catalogue on a single mobile device from Ksh 380 to Ksh 300.

“We know that consumers are under pressure at the moment and we believe this change will be appreciated by our mobile customers as will the decision not to increase any of our other prices. We have our most exciting slate of Showmax Originals this year and look forward to more of our subscribers enjoying our proudly African stories.” Yolisa Phahle, MultiChoice Group CEO for Connected Video said on the price change.

The mobile versions of Showmax and Showmax Pro are designed for anyone who only watches on a mobile device like a phone or tablet.  The cost for Showmax pro will be retained at Ksh 2,100 and Ksh 1,050 for Showmax pro mobile.

Promotional bundles will be unaffected by this change.
